         <title>Consumer group: state lags in enforcement of laws on hospital infections, errors</title>
         <description><![CDATA[<p>Consumers Union’s has been reviewing hospital infection and medical error laws passed in recent years to determine if the state has begun implementing and enforcing these laws and concluded that California has not done it's job. The state estmates 240,000 Californians a year get a hospital infection and 13,500 die.<br />
